Read the sentences and predict.

The two mountains were very high and big.

A very old man tried to move the mountains.

A man told Yu Gong that he could never do it.

1. A man saw Yu Gong and his (children/family) when they were working on moving the mountains.

1. a little bit  = a little/a bit/kind of

（1） 形容词或副词或比较级时，表示“一点儿”

2. silly adj. 愚蠢的=foolish    silly-sillier-silliest

3.seem v. 似乎      连系动词 adj.

It seems adj. to do…    做…似乎…

4. instead of n/ doing sth. 代替，而不是…

后面必须跟 n.或v-ing的短语

instead  adv. 代替   单独放句首打逗号，或放句末

Eg. 咖啡没有了，你愿意喝水代替吗？

We have no coffee. Would you like some water instead? =Instead…, would you…?
