Language Points

1.There is a computer in my home, and my father and I share it.

share及物动词，意为“共用，分享”，后面接名词或代词作宾语。share…with sb.意为“与某人分享/共用…”。

Lily shares her lunch with her friend. 

Mary and I share an umbrella.

2.He also goes on the Internet to check the times of trains, make travel plans, and buy tickets.

plan此处用作可数名词，意为“计划”。常与动词make连用，make a plan意为“制定计划”。

plan还可以用作动词，意为“计划;打算”。plan to do sth.“计划做某事”。

We should make a plan for our studies. 

He plans to buy a new computer.

3.On the Internet, I search for information, do my homework and check my email.

search for意为“搜寻;查找”，search for sb./sth.表示“搜查某人或查找某物”，而“search 地点”则表示“搜查某地”。

information不可数名词，意为“信息”，不可用a/an，many等词修饰，但可以用much,lot of,some,any等词修饰。

表示“一条信息”用a piece of information。information 后可接on或about, 意为“关于……的信息”。
