be scared of…害怕……

[观察] I’m scared of thunder! 我害怕雷声！

The girl is scared of him. 这个女孩怕他。

I’m scared of taking a plane. 我怕乘飞机。

[探究] be scared of…意为“害怕……”，后接名词、________或________，相当于“be afraid of…”。

[拓展] be scared  to do sth.意为“害怕做某事，不敢做某事”， 相当于“be afraid to do sth.”。例如：
