知识点1

go shopping 去购物

eg：I usually go shopping on Sundays.

我星期天通常去购物。

“go＋动词的­ing形式”表示“去做某事”，多指从事与体育、娱乐等有关的活动。

eg：go fishing 去钓鱼　go riding 去骑马

go swimming 去游泳　go boating 去划船

go hunting 去打猎　   go walking 去散步

知识点2

although/ɔːl’ðəʊ/conj.虽然；尽管

引导让步状语从句，一般位于句首，有时与though可互换，都不能与but连用，但可以与yet，still等词连用。

eg：Although he was ill，he still worked hard.

他虽然生病了，但仍努力工作。

—Yes.________ it’s very old，it still runs well. (泉州)

【点拨】since因为，自……以来；because因为；although虽然。由句意可知选C。

知识点3

【重点】这是一个强调句型，其构成为“It is/was＋被强调部分＋that/who＋句子其他部分．”，被强调部分放在it is/was之后，其他部分置于that/who之后，被强调部分可以是主语、宾语、表语或状语等。强调的主语如果是人，可以由who代替that。

eg: It was I who/that met an old classmate of mine in the street. 是我在街上碰到我的一个老同学的。

【难点】特殊句式中的强调句型如果强调的是特殊疑问句中的疑问词，其结构为“特殊疑问词＋is/was＋it＋that＋其余部分？”。

eg：How is it that you usually go to work?

你通常是怎样去上班的？
